SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF BREWING (2ND EDITION)
This course follows a previous edition, the Expert Diploma in Brewing Science and Technology, which was offered in its seventh year (2022/23). The second edition is now being offered as a Continuing Education course. The main objective is to provide a comprehensive overview of the brewing process through direct knowledge transfer and opportunities for reflection and discussion.
The specific objectives are:
(i) To approach the beer-making process from both a scientific and technological point of view.
(ii) To practically demonstrate the steps necessary for the manufacture and packaging of beer in a real plant.
(iii) To expose real problems in the brewing industry and their possible solutions.
