The Degree in Industrial Technology Engineering qualifies students to design, execute and manage all kinds of installations and operations corresponding to different areas.
Your work will be linked to positions of responsibility within companies, in any of their departments. You will be able to develop your skills in the industrial sector, performing tasks such as technical management and business administration, product design, project execution and management, industrial construction and installations, production, maintenance, mechanics, and quality control.
You can also work in the service sector, in construction and installation companies, engineering firms, consultancies, expert reports, marketing and sales management, occupational risk prevention, etc.
You can create your own company or practice independently as an engineering advisor and consultant. You can also choose to work in the public sector (as a civil servant or employee of the European Union, national, regional, and local governments); in technology transfer, development, and innovation (in public or private centers and innovation and development departments of large companies); and in teaching
Graduates are specially trained to act, carry out or manage organizations and work in the economic, industrial, statistical, social and labor spheres, such as:
- The verification, analysis and chemical, mechanical and electrical testing of materials, elements and installations.
- Intervention in matters of industrial property.
- The performance of topographic work, gauging, appraisals and boundary demarcations.
- Expert opinions, reports and technical actions in judicial, official and private matters.
- The construction of industrial buildings and their annexes.
- Auxiliary industrial applications in urban construction.
- Research in specific centers.
- Teaching at the secondary and university levels.
- As many tasks as current legislation entrusts them to do at any given time.
The training you acquire will allow you to occupy positions in the technical teams of private companies or public institutions, as well as to plan, design and develop advanced technologies.
