Federico Paris Carballo in charge of giving the Inaugural Lecture of the 2024/25 Academic Year of the University of Seville

The University of Seville will celebrate next Saturday, September 7 , at 12:00 p.m., the solemn Opening Ceremony of the 2024-2025 Academic Year .

The event, which will take place in the University Auditorium, will be chaired by its rector, Miguel Ángel Castro Arroyo, and will be attended by various authorities and representatives of the political, economic, social, military, religious and academic environment of Seville and Andalusia. . 

The Inaugural Course Lecture will be given by the professor of Engineering of Continuous Media Mechanics and Theory of Structures of the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville (ETSi), Federico Paris Carballo , who will speak on "Contributions of Structural Mechanics to knowledge" , reviewing from Galileo to the present day.

Federico Paris is a Dr. Industrial Engineer, Professor of Continuous Media Mechanics and Theory of Structures at the ETSi of the University of Seville, a city where he has developed outstanding academic and professional work, contributing significantly to the field of research in the aeronautical industry. His work has been fundamental for the advancement of Materials and Structures Engineering, always highlighting his firm commitment to collaboration between the university and industry.
