Electronics for hostile environments: Mission Alpha, a case study
The Higher Technical School of Engineers of the University of Seville has organized this March 6, the Seminar "Electronics for hostile environments | Alpha Mission, a case study ." The event, open to the general public and to the School's PhD and Master's students, has offered a unique opportunity to explore the challenges and advances in the field of electronics applied to hostile environments, with special emphasis on the Alpha Mission , which will put the first 100% Andalusian satellite into orbit.
The seminar has been carried out both in person and online . Participants have been able to join the different sessions, including topics such as design and fabrication of CubeSats structures, system architecture for cubesats and ground stations, as well as magnetic measurement techniques for future gravitational wave space observatories. Prominent experts in this field, including representatives of the Mission Alpha consortium such as the Ontech Cluster, Smart City Cluster, companies such as Indaero, Cactus, Integrasys, Alter Technology and the Aerospace Engineering and Electronic Engineering of the University of Seville, have shared their knowledge and experiences in these sessions.
The Alpha Mission is an initiative financed in its first phase by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism within the AEI support program to contribute to improving the competitiveness of the Spanish industry, and with the support of the European Union to Through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, it represents a key initiative to strengthen the competitiveness of the Spanish industry.
