10th Edition of the Manufacturing Engineering Society International Conference, MESIC 2023

The Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville, ETSi, held today, June 28, the opening ceremony of the 10th Edition of the International Conference of the Manufacturing Engineering Society, MESIC 2023, which is scheduled to last until next Friday, June 30.

The MESIC aims to create forums for the exchange of experiences among researchers, professionals, and educators in the field of Manufacturing Engineering. It was established in 2005 under the auspices of the Manufacturing Engineering Society (SIF-MES) as a biennial international event.

This year, the Manufacturing Processes Engineering group at the University of Seville is proud to organize MESIC 2023 at the ETSI (School of Industrial Engineering). Building on the success of previous conferences and in collaboration with SIF (Society of Industrial Engineers), this tenth edition will feature a comprehensive technical and lecture program, as well as a cultural program. This year, the MESIC 2023 Conference will host over 200 accredited participants from some 20 countries, who will deliver approximately 100 oral presentations and a similar number of poster contributions, which will be displayed in the School's Hall during the Congress.

The Scientific Committee comprises leading researchers in Manufacturing Engineering from international centers in more than twenty countries. In addition to academics, a significant number of professionals from this industrial sector will also actively participate in the Conference. This is evidenced by the companies and organizations that have sponsored the Conference: IberOptics, Sisteplant, Microtest, the College of Industrial Engineers (COIIAOC), Caja de Ingenieros, AIRBUS, AICIA, CATEC, M&M, METRONIC, and DSP-DEFORM.
