The Engineering Library inaugurates the Professor Emilio Gómez Collaborative Work Room

Publication date

The Library of the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville expands its work spaces with the launch of the Professor Emilio Gómez Collaborative Work Room, a new flexible-use space intended for the university community and designed to respond to different needs of the academic environment.

The room is named in homage to Professor Emilio Gómez González, professor of Applied Physics at the ETSi, who died in 2023.

Designed as a versatile space, the new room combines coworking areas and individual workstations, allowing for the simultaneous development of different activities related to teamwork, individual work, and other learning activities.

Three coworking spaces with prior reservation

The Prof. Emilio Gómez Collaborative Work Room has three coworking spaces:

Coworking 1: capacity for 4 people.

Coworking 2: capacity for 4 people.

Coworking 3: capacity for 6 people.

To use these spaces, it is necessary to make a prior reservation through the Library's website, in the Room Reservation section:

Room Reservations > Coworking Room.

Individual workstations, on the other hand, do not require reservation and can be used directly, provided they are available.

With this new addition, the Engineering Library expands its range of spaces for collaborative work and academic activities, providing the university community with a flexible environment where they can meet, work as a team, exchange ideas and develop projects.
