Next Tuesday, May 21 at 10:00 a.m., on the soccer field of the ETSi of the University of Seville, the Rocket Players association will carry out a real bench test of a 260 kg thrust rocket motor.
This day will be accompanied by:
- Notions about the design and manufacture of rockets.
- Brief introduction to nozzle theory.
- Solid propellant characterization experiment.
- And finally a final bench rehearsal that will be recorded by RTVE.
The test is within the test campaign to improve the propulsion system of the NAOS project that Coheteros is currently developing and which will serve as a test for the launch of NAOS on June 7.
NAOS is the most ambitious project ever carried out by Coheteros. With 2.65 m high, 776 g of electronics, on-board video recording and telemetry, and a 2 m diameter parachute. I attach a video in which you will see NAOS conquer the sky.
If you want to feel the roar of a J222 class rocket engine 🚀, you can't miss it!!
