The ETSi hosts the IEEE International Conference on Dielectric Liquids (ICDL)
The Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville hosted the IEEE International Conference on Dielectric Liquids (ICDL), which brought together more than 130 researchers and experts from more than 20 countries around the world.
The IEEE is the leading conference on the fundamental study and applications of dielectric liquids. The first conference was held in Philadelphia, USA, in 1958. It focuses on promoting the exchange and discussion of ideas, results, and practical experiences regarding the properties and applications of insulating liquids. It is geared towards physicists, chemists, materials scientists, and electrical engineers interested in the basic research and practical applications of these liquids. As such, participants come from both academic and industrial backgrounds.
The last edition was held in Rome in 2019, and although it has been held every two years until now, the global pandemic situation forced the postponement of the event in Seville, which was scheduled for 2021.
