II edition of the CSIC Awards - BBVA Foundation for Scientific Communication
The BBVA Foundation and the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) collaborate in the call for the new edition of this program that recognizes and encourages the work of journalists and researchers committed to conveying to the public, in a rigorous and attractive way, the advances in science, as well as to improve training in this decisive field for the takeoff of the scientific culture of society.
II Edition of the CSIC Awards - BBVA Foundation for Scientific Communication
CSIC Awards – BBVA Foundation for Scientific Communication:
Aimed at recognizing the best contributions to the public understanding of science in Spain in two categories: one aimed at journalists specialized in scientific communication and the other at researchers who have contributed to the dissemination of knowledge to society.
Candidates will be active professionals of any nationality who have carried out a significant part of their scientific communication work in Spain.
It will be possible to present joint candidatures of two or more people who have carried out scientific communication activities in collaboration.
Endowment: 40,000 euros for each category.
CSIC Grants – BBVA Foundation for Scientific Communication:
Aimed at university graduates from any branch of knowledge who want to specialize in scientific communication, not in scientific-technical or research training.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a university graduate in any area of knowledge.
- Of Spanish nationality with residence in Spain, or nationals of other countries with residence in Spain, in the terms provided in the bases.
- You must have a maximum age of 35 years as of December 31, 2022.
The candidatures will be direct (presented by the interested parties themselves).
Endowment: maximum of 35,000 euros for each category.
