Conference 'Switched Capacitor Converters' by Telles Brunelli Lazzarin
Conference 'Switched Capacitor Converters'
by Telles Brunelli Lazzarin
Organized by the Department of Electronic Engineering.
Place: Classroom 309a of the ETSi
Day: Friday, March 10
Time: At 11:00 am.
Professor Telles Brunelli Lazzarin from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil) is visiting our Department of Electronic Engineering these days and will give a talk associated with our doctoral program next Friday.
The conference will be called 'Switched Capacitor Converters' and will discuss What are switched capacitor converters, how do they work, and where can we apply it? In this lecture we will see the principle of operation, topologies based on switched-capacitor, integration between switched-capacitor and conventional converters, and some applications.
Professor Telles Brunelli Lazzarin
Professor Telles Brunelli Lazzarin (IEEE Senior Member) received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) , Florianopolis, Brazil, in 2004, 2006, and 2010, respectively. He is currently an Adjunct Professor with the UFSC. His research interests include inverters, parallel operation of inverters, UPS, high-voltage dc–dc converters, direct ac-ac power converters, switched capacitor converters, and hybrid switched capacitor converters.
