The purpose of the call for the Keyter Intarcon Genaq Award is to recognize the best Final Degree/Master's Thesis on a topic that addresses the study of the following areas: air conditioning, refrigeration, water production or technologies related to the above.
The prize will have a financial prize of 500 and 300 euros, respectively for the 1st and 2nd prize. Additionally, the awarded students will be able to enjoy a 6-month internship contract in one of the KIG Group companies.
The application submission period will be open from December 1, 2022 to July 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
All documentation will be delivered using the electronic form indicated in the annex.
Rules of the Call for the Keyter Intarcon Genaq Award for the best final degree/master's thesis
The prize will have a financial prize of 500 and 300 euros, respectively for the 1st and 2nd prize. This amount will be paid in a single payment once the requirements established for its granting in this call have been met and will be delivered in a public event. The corresponding withholding of Personal Income Tax will be made in the payment, as appropriate. In addition to this cash prize, the winners will be offered a 6-month internship contract in one of the group companies.
Persons whose Final Degree/Master's Thesis conforms to the object described in point 1 of these rules, who have been defended and judged at the University of Seville within the corresponding academic year, and whose minimum grade has been “Outstanding”.
- Interested parties will subscribe the application using the electronic form that can be accessed with the link that appears in Annex I of this call.
- Interested parties must submit, in addition to the application, the following documentation:
- Photocopy of the National Identity Document.
- A complete copy of the Final Degree/Master's Project or A summary of the Final Degree/Master's Project, with a maximum length of five pages, in which the following concepts must be included: object of the Project, results obtained and interest in the topic covered. .
- Certificate of having received the rating of “Outstanding” or higher. All of this in a single PDF document whose maximum size will be 10MB.
- Photocopy of the National Identity Document.
The application submission period will be open from December 1, 2022 to July 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
All documentation will be delivered attached to the electronic form in a single shipment.
The award of the prize will be subject to the following provisions:
- The submission of a Work to the Keyter-Intarcon-Genaq Award implies the acceptance by its author of the Rules of the call, in particular the transfer of the intellectual property rights thereof to the KIG group. in the case of being awarded.
- Failure by the beneficiary to comply with the obligations indicated in this call may lead to the withdrawal of the Prize, with the corresponding refund of the amounts received.
- The review of applications will be carried out competitively and, to this end, only the documentation provided will be considered.
- The applications will be evaluated by the Director of the KIG Chair, a representative of Keyter, a representative of INTARCON, and the Professor of the Thermal Machines and Motors area of the University of Cádiz Francisco José Sánchez de la Flor, who will act as Secretary.
- The Evaluation Commission will issue the Award resolution. This resolution must include the following documentation:
- Minutes of the Evaluation Commission meeting.
- Report from the Chair that supports the granting of the Prize.
- List of candidates, in order of priority, presented for the Award.
- The Evaluation Commission may declare the Award void and will resolve any incidents that arise.
- Minutes of the Evaluation Commission meeting.
The ruling of the Evaluation Commission will be final and will be made public on the website before December 30, 2023.
Both the Director of the Chair and the members of the committee in charge of evaluating the final projects submitted for the award, in addition to the powers conferred upon them, are empowered to resolve any incidents that may arise, as well as any actions that may be necessary in execution of this call.
