Access and admission

To access the official Master's Degree in Operation of Space Systems, applicants must hold an official Spanish university degree as defined in Royal Decree 1393/2007, a Bachelor's, Engineering, or Architecture degree awarded by the Spanish state under legislation prior to the aforementioned Royal Decree, or other qualifications issued by a higher education institution within the European Higher Education Area that qualify the holder for admission to Master's programs in the issuing country.

Graduates from educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area may also be admitted without the need for official recognition of their degrees, provided the University verifies that their qualifications demonstrate a level of education equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish university degrees and that they qualify the holder for admission to postgraduate studies in the issuing country.
Exceptionally, admission may be granted to students with other degrees and qualifications, subject to a detailed analysis of the additional competencies acquired after obtaining said degrees or qualifications, through further training and/or professional experience, and, if deemed necessary by the Master's Academic Committee, after a personal interview.

In addition to the above requirements, applicants must meet those established annually by the Regional Government of Andalusia through the Andalusian Single District in each call for applications. These calls detail the schedule, pre-registration requirements, and curriculum evaluation criteria for each individual Master's program.

Students may request credit transfer based on having already completed courses with overlapping content in their official undergraduate degrees. If the Master's Academic Committee rejects the request, the student must formally enroll within 10 days.
In any case, the student must enroll in at least 30 credits, excluding those for which credit transfer has been requested.

The admission and enrollment procedure is regulated by the Single Andalusian District Agreement.

If there are more applications than places available, they will be ranked according to an assessment that will take into account the following criteria:

  1. Academic record. (50%)
  2. Correspondence between the competencies of the student's prior degree and the competencies of this Master's program , assessing the suitability of the academic curriculum content (based on a review of the curricula completed) to the competencies to be acquired in the Master's program. This assessment will be carried out by the Master's Academic Committee. (40%)
  3. Curriculum Vitae , taking into account the student's work experience and any additional studies they may have, and especially their English language skills (a C1 level or higher is preferred). This assessment will be carried out by the Master's Academic Committee. (10%)

Once the applicants have been ranked according to the aforementioned evaluation criteria, all applicants will be admitted according to the number of places offered, in strict order of priority. In the event of withdrawals, applicants not initially selected may be considered for admission again, again according to their order of merit.

The Academic Committee will give priority to graduates in Aerospace Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering , given that these degrees have been used as references for the design of the curriculum of the Master in Space Systems Operation.

The admission and enrollment procedure is regulated by the Single Andalusian District Agreement.
