ARUS launches its annual crowdfunding campaign

Six years ago, ARUS was the first team in Spain to carry out crowdfunding to finance part of its single-seater; a practice that, currently, most Formula Student teams in Spain carry out every year. 

“Give us wings to fly” is the slogan of ARUS’s 2025 crowdfunding campaign. This year, the team is seeking to raise €4,960 to finance the aerodynamics of the single-seater.

These campaigns are essential for the team, as they represent a significant portion of the funding for that year's car, in this case the ART-25D. This year, the team is also undertaking its most ambitious project ever, making every bit of funding vital for the car's development. 

To carry out the fundraising, the team uses the website “Apontoque,” ​​where you can contribute from €1, as well as via Bizum. Numerous packages are available, the lowest costing €1, and each one includes a reward commensurate with the amount paid. Rewards range from team merchandise to having the contributor's name displayed on the car or the drivers' helmets. In this way, the team aims to carry out its ambitious projects, something that would not be possible without the contributions of individuals in this campaign

RUS Andalucía Racing Team is a Formula Student team created and based in Seville. Founded in 2012 by the University of Seville, it competes in Formula Student against more than 800 universities across Europe. Formula Student, often considered the "training ground for Formula 1," is an engineering competition where the main focus is the design of the single-seater race car.
