The University of Seville's motorcycle racing team, eUSRacing, has submitted his eighth racing motorcycle, the third of an electrical nature, designed and manufactured entirely by students to participate in the international competition MotoStudent, which, from October 17 to 19, will bring together 80 university teams from around the world on the circuit of MotorLand Aragón.

Which began in 2009 as he dream of a cluster of friends HE ha consolidated in these years as a a leading figure in university motorcyclinginspiring new generations of students. Currently, eUSRacing is made up of almost 50 students from different degree programs, who collaborate in each stage of the process: from from the initial design to the manufacturing and testing of the motorcycle.

During the presentation, the team shared with the attendees, among whom were professors, sponsors, family members and members of the university community, the details of the new prototype and the effort that has requested his development. The members emphasized that the “and" in eUSRacing symbolizes engineering, education and energy, values ​​that have guided the project since its inception.

 

Commitment with the mobility electric

 

The new prototype incorporates significant improvements that reinforce the commitment to innovation and efficiency. These include:

  • A charger own, designed and manufactured by the students, able of recharge the battery from 0 to 100% in just 60 minutes.

 

  • Geometry variable, that optimizes he behavior dynamic of the motorcycle, contributing more stability and maneuverability on the track.

 

 

These innovations reflect the team's commitment to technological development and its focus on electric mobility as a solution for the future.

The motorcycle presented will be the visible result of two years of intense workwhich will culminate with their participation in MotoStudent, the international challenge in which universities from around the world compete not only on the track, but also in terms of criteria of innovation, design and industrial viability.
