Representatives from Shanghai Jiao Tong University visit the Higher Technical School of Engineering at the University of Seville

The Higher Technical School of Engineering (ETSi) of the University of Seville recently received a visit from two representatives of the prestigious Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU): Yu Zhang, Manager International Undergraduate Recruitment Office , and David LS Hung, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs of the SJTU Global College .

The delegation was received by the director of the ETSi, Andrés Sáez Pérez ; the deputy director of International Relations, Juan José Murillo Fuentes ; and the professor of Electronic Engineering, Leopoldo García Franquelo . During the meeting, both institutions explored opportunities for academic and research collaboration, as well as potential joint mobility initiatives and international programs.

The SJTU Global College , formerly known as the UM-SJTU Joint Institute , offers internationally recognized undergraduate and postgraduate programs taught entirely in English. Shanghai Jiao Tong University , ranked 47th in the QS World University Rankings , maintains strategic partnerships with leading European and North American universities, including the Institut Polytechnique de Paris , with which it operates the joint faculty SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology .

The visit strengthens relations between the University of Seville and one of Asia's most influential academic institutions, opening the door to new high-level collaborations in the field of engineering.
