The team JADA, formed by the students of the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville, Javier Jiménez Pareja, Agustín Mayor Lora, David Barrero Fernández and Alejandro Rodríguez López, has achieved a new academic milestone by proclaiming first place winner in the semi-finals of the prestigious international consulting case study competition TIMES (Tournament In Management and Engineering Skills).

The competition, organized by the European network ESTIEM (European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management), was held last weekend in Budapest and gathered eight university teams coming from various European universities. After an intense day of analysis and resolution of real business cases, the Seville team managed to prevail over the other participants, securing qualification for the grand finale, which will take place from June 24-27 in Aachen (Germany).

This achievement marks a special milestone for ESTIEM LG Seville, association to which the ranked students belong, since from 2017 No team from Seville had ever reached the final of this demanding international competition.

Alejandro Rodríguez expressed the team's gratitude to the University of Seville for "the support received in funding our participation in the semifinals. It has been a valuable academic and personal experience." unique and unforgettable”.
