The Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville hosts from today, June 25 to 27, 2025, the 34th INGEGRAF International Conference, which under the title “AI Graphics: Future, Transformation and Automation”, has brought together in Seville more than 140 experts in the field of graphic expression applied to engineering, construction and agriculture.
The opening and welcome to the congress attendees was attended by Julián Martínez Fernández, Vice-Rector for Research at the University of Seville; Ramón Herrera de las Heras, Secretary General of Universities of the Regional Government of Andalusia; Andrés Sáez Pérez, Director of the Higher Technical School of Engineering at the University of Seville; and Manuel Morato Moreno and Cristina Torrecillas Lozano, as coordinators of INGEGRAF 2025.
INGEGRAF is an annual congress that returns to Seville for the second time, after hosting it in 2005. This edition has featured experts from universities in various Spanish cities, as well as from Portugal, France, Costa Rica, Australia, Italy, Chile, etc.
More than 100 scientific papers have been received, which, after being evaluated by the committee, will be published by the prestigious publishing house Springer as chapters in a book entitled Advances on Design Engineering V. In addition, the 10 best papers presented will be published in a special issue of the journal Dyna, ranked Q3 in the JRC (Journal Citation Reports).
INGEGRAF 2025 represents a special occasion that fosters the exchange of knowledge among experts in the field of graphic engineering, as well as opportunities for technology transfer between researchers and companies in the sector. This exchange enables a direct contribution to society of the latest technologies for the development of projects and advancements in civil, industrial, aeronautical, architectural, healthcare, and agricultural fields, among many others.
