Call for entries for awards for the best undergraduate and master's theses of the IoT Chair

The Internet of Things Chair , or IoT Chair, has announced the launch of the first edition of its awards for undergraduate and master's theses related to the Internet of Things and smart energy management. In this inaugural edition, a total of four prizes will be awarded: two prizes of €2,000 each for the best undergraduate theses, and two prizes of €2,500 each for the best master's theses.

The chair is a joint initiative of the University of Seville and the technology-based company WoodSwallow , and its objective is to promote teaching and research activities related to the IoT and smart energy management. The aforementioned awards are among the activities planned by the chair.

The call for entries is open to students of any engineering discipline at the University of Seville and applies to projects submitted to the university before September 30, 2022. The deadline for submitting applications for these awards is October 31, 2022.

The undergraduate and master's theses submitted must focus on a topic related to the Internet of Things, with preference given to those dealing with smart energy management applications or electromobility. The topics for submission are divided into two categories: hardware and embedded firmware. Designing antennas for embedded devices, designing low-power IoT devices, and developing remote sensor reading protocols are some of the topics covered by these awards.
