The ETSi welcomes more than a thousand high school students to its Pre-University Days
ETSi Pre-University Days
Date: From March 30 to February 2, 2023
Location: Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville
The Higher Technical School of Engineering (ETSi) of the University of Seville is holding until Thursday, February 2nd, the “Pre-University Days: Training and Research at the Higher Technical School of Engineering of Seville”.
More than 1,600 high school students from Seville and the surrounding province are participating in our Pre-University Days
For four days, the ETSi welcomes more than 1,600 students in their second year of Baccalaureate or second year of Higher Level Vocational Training Cycles with access to Engineering studies, eager to learn about the Center and its facilities, as well as the degrees taught and the research carried out.
What do the ETSi Pre-University Days consist of?
The visiting students, accompanied by their faculty advisors, are welcomed in the Auditorium by the ETSi Directorate, who presents the School and its range of degrees, internships, exchange programs, career opportunities, and the research activities carried out at the Center. They are then given a tour of the Center's facilities, including the Main Building and the Workshops and Laboratories Building, with particular emphasis on the research laboratories.
A total of 70 Secondary Education centers in Seville city and province have responded to the annual call made by the ETSi Management in order to explain to possible future students the training and research work of the School and the studies they can pursue if they ultimately decide to opt for the different studies taught in Engineering.
These workshops are part of the School's initiative to provide a real and practical overview of the degrees offered at this Center, as well as the research carried out in the field of Engineering, to high school and vocational students who in the coming months will have to make one of the most important decisions of their lives: the choice of university studies to pursue, which will affect their academic and, later, professional future.
