Topics of the exercises carried out in the National Olympiad of Theory of Machines and Mechanisms (OTM2)

  • Mechanism structure, mobility and rotability.
  • Kinematics of planar mechanisms
  • Dynamics of planar mechanisms
  • Dimensional synthesis of mechanisms
  • Levas
  • Gears

The OTM2 is a student Olympiad sponsored by the Spanish Association of Mechanical Engineering (AEIM), with the main objective of promoting and highlighting the teaching of Machine and Mechanism Theory at Spanish universities. It also aims to serve as a selection tool for teams to participate in the SIOMMS (Students International Olympiad of Mechanism & Machine Science), sponsored by the International Federation of Machine and Mechanism Science (IFToMM).

Elias, David and Juan, congratulations!
