ETSi Emprende: Engineers creating the future

The Higher Technical School of Engineering (ETSi) of the University of Seville will hold on February 2, 2026 , at 12:00 noon , in the Graduation Hall , the round table entitled "ETSi Emprende: Engineers creating the future" , an activity aimed at engineering students interested in entrepreneurship, innovation and the creation of quality employment from the technological field.

The event will bring together a group of entrepreneurs trained at the ETSI (School of Engineering) who boast renowned professional and business track records. Participants will include Ángel Haro , president of WINGENIA SL ; José Antonio Pérez Moral , co-founder of CoverManager ; Juan García Ortega , of Solar MEMS ; and Manuel Ibáñez Prieto , Venture Capital Partner at Austral Venture Gestión SGEIC SAU . Through their experiences, the speakers will address the opportunities offered by the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Seville and Andalusia, highlighting the role of engineering as an engine of economic growth and social development.

This roundtable discussion is part of the ETSi-Emprende Program , an initiative that aims to introduce students to Seville's entrepreneurial ecosystem and foster a culture of innovation. The program will culminate in the 2nd Entrepreneurship Competition , for which registration will remain open until January 31, 2026 .
