Commemorative event for workshop instructors Manuel González and José Tejada
The Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville will hold, next Friday, January 16, at 13.30 a ceremony to unveil the commemorative plaque in which the facilities of the Wind Tunnel of the ETSi to Mr. Manuel González and Mr. José Tejada , workshop masters whose work has been fundamental in the history and experimental development of our School.
The unveiling of the plaque in their honor will take place this Friday, January 16, at 1:30 p.m. , at the Wind Tunnel facilities, and will be attended by both honorees .
This award recognizes an exemplary career of dedication, technical expertise, and commitment to the ETSi. Over the years, Manuel González and José Tejada have played a vital role in the implementation, development, and consolidation of the wind tunnel, contributing not only their technical knowledge but also a constant commitment that has made all the difference in the operation, reliability, and utilization of this experimental facility.
They have also been responsible for the manufacture of numerous experimental models, as well as the operation and maintenance of the wind tunnel throughout all these years, contributing silently but essentially to the training of generations of engineers and to the development of multiple research projects.
This act is intended to publicly express recognition of a task that is an inseparable part of the human and technical heritage of the ETSi.
