Blood Donation Campaign at the ETSi

On Tuesday, November 26, Wednesday, November 27, and Thursday, November 28, there will be an Engineering STI blood donation drive. It will take place at the East Pool (Camino de los Descubrimientos s/n) from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. In collaboration with the University of Seville, blood of all types is needed.

REQUIREMENTS FOR DONATING:

  • WEIGHING MORE THAN 50 KILOS
  • BE OF AGE
  • ENJOY GOOD HEALTH
  • DO NOT COME ON AN EMPTY STOMACH

Blood  is a vital "medicine" that cannot be manufactured.


 

  • A minimum of two months must pass between donations. Men can donate blood four times a year; women three times a year.


 

  • Before you donate, a doctor will examine you to determine if you are eligible. Donating does not pose any risk to your health. This process includes a small blood test to rule out anemia.


 

  • A blood donation takes 15 minutes; 15 minutes that can save a life.


 

  • All materials used in the blood donation process are sterile and for single use only.


 

  • After donating blood, blood volume is replenished by consuming food, especially fluids, and getting some rest. These foods will be available to the donor at the donation site.


 

NOTICE: On the day of donation, you cannot do any sport, NOR 2 HOURS BEFORE OR 24 HOURS AFTER.
