The Higher Technical School of Engineering at the University of Seville will hold the twentieth edition of the Engineering and Employment Meeting (ESIEM 2023). This event aims to connect the professional world with future engineers studying at the School. Now that the COVID-19 pandemic is behind us, this edition returns to the pre-2020 format.
This twentieth edition will feature 57 companies and institutions, representing significant growth compared to previous editions, solidifying its position as a benchmark among Engineering job fairs and events.
ESIEM is the perfect setting for students in their final years of undergraduate studies, master's programs, or recent graduates to begin their professional relationships, as participating companies offer jobs and internships, and provide information about their operations, thus guiding future engineers towards a job that matches their training.
The organizers of this Engineering and Employment Conference have dedicated their utmost effort and expertise to ensuring that ESIEM 2023 is a fruitful event for both students and participating companies, institutions, and organizations. To this end, they have utilized all available resources to facilitate interaction among all stakeholders involved in this Engineering and Employment Conference.
On March 22nd, participating companies and institutions will have an excellent opportunity to show Engineering students the real needs they will face in the working world, as well as to offer jobs to recent graduates and provide internships to students in their final years at the School.
It is important to highlight the international nature of many of the participating companies, some of them multinationals such as Airbus Group, Accenture, CEPSA, INECO, etc. Likewise, the presence of numerous national companies that have a significant impact on the region, both in terms of their business volume and the number of jobs they create, has been confirmed.
On the other hand, the close link between the ETSi and the Armed Forces allows the Government of Spain, through the Ministry of Defense, to participate in this event once again this year, as well as all the professional associations of the Senior Engineer professions that are qualified by the five Master's degrees currently taught at the Center.
Organization of the ESIEM Engineering and Employment Meeting
The ESIEM Engineering and Employment Meeting is organized by the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville, ESTIEM, the largest student association in Europe in the field of engineering and management, and EUROAVIA Seville, a student initiative that operates at a European level and originated from the need to bring industry closer to students, as well as to promote joint work among all European countries in the aeronautical sector.
