Julio Marvizón Preney will talk to us about the Shroud of Turin, one of the great enigmas of our era
The ETSi Alumni Association, in collaboration with the school, has organized a fascinating talk featuring Julio Marvizón Preney, meteorologist, journalist, and Spain's leading expert on the Shroud of Turin. He is highly respected in this field and a member of the International Center for Sindonology in Turin and the Spanish Center for Sindonology in Valencia.
The Shroud of Turin has been called "the most important relic of Christianity," and much has been written about it, and continues to be written. Several studies have determined that it is a medieval artifact, but those who defend its authenticity also present compelling evidence and arguments. The Shroud of Turin remains one of the great enigmas of the world, a subject around which numerous hypotheses and theories have been developed.
The talk "The Shroud of Turin: A Miraculous Forgery?"will take place at the Higher Technical School of Engineering of Seville next Thursday, March 30th, in the ETSI Auditorium at 7:00 PM. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Capaz de Ser Association, in support of their housing rehabilitation project for young people with intellectual disabilities.
The ETSi Alumni Association believes this is an opportunity to support a disadvantaged and often overlooked sector of society: people with intellectual disabilities. Tickets cost €10 (all proceeds go to the Capaz de Ser association) and can be purchased at this link. Alternatively, if you are a member of the ETSi Alumni Association, you can reserve your tickets here , and the association will process the bank transfer.
We're waiting for you!
