The ETSI of the University of Seville celebrates ESIEM26 with the participation of 73 companies and institutions

The Higher Technical School of Engineering (ETSi) of the University of Seville will hold the 23rd edition of the Meeting on Engineering and Employment (ESIEM26) on March 19, 2026, a consolidated event that has become one of the main forums for connection between engineering students and technological and industrial companies.
This year, the event will feature 73 companies and institutions, present through 69 exhibition stands, consolidating ESIEM as one of the largest forums for interaction between engineering students and technological and industrial companies in southern Europe.
During the day, thousands of ETSi students will have the opportunity to meet directly with leading companies from different engineering sectors, learn about internship and employment opportunities, and make contact with professionals in the sector.
A meeting point between university and industry
ESIEM's main objective is to bring the business world closer to students, allowing them to learn how companies work, what technological projects they are developing, and what professional profiles they currently demand.
For participating companies, the event represents an opportunity to identify highly qualified young talent, establish links with the university, and publicize their projects, internship programs, and career opportunities.
Roundtables on major technological challenges
One of the highlights of the ESIEM26 program will be the organization of thematic round tables, in which professionals from leading companies in the sector will participate.
These sessions will allow for discussion of some of the main technological challenges in engineering today, addressing topics such as:
  • The future of aeronautics, defense and space
  • Renewable energy and energy transition
  • Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in Industry
  • Sustainable mobility and the transport of the future
  • Automation, robotics and Industry 4.0
  • Engineering applied to new materials and industrial processes
  • Smart energy systems and electricity markets
The round tables will combine brief presentations from companies, moderated dialogue and questions from students, creating a space for direct exchange between students and professionals in the sector.
Engineering training connected to the productive sector
The Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville is one of the leading centers for the training of engineers in Spain, with degrees that cover key areas such as aeronautical, industrial, telecommunications, civil, chemical, energy, robotics or industrial organization engineering, among others.
The ETSi's strong connection with the business sector allows its students to develop training closely linked to the real technological challenges of the industry, facilitating their entry into the labor market in high value-added sectors.
More than two decades connecting talent and industry

In its 23rd edition, ESIEM has established itself as a leading annual event for students, companies and professionals in the field of engineering.
The event represents a unique opportunity to explore the future of engineering, learn firsthand about companies' technological projects, and open up new professional opportunities for students.
