The Higher Technical School of Engineering will host the Environmental Engineering Conference on June 11th , an event aimed at professionals, researchers, students and entities linked to environmental management and sustainable industrial development.

The conference will address the main challenges and regulatory developments in environmental matters, with particular attention to the new provisions included in Law 2/2026 for environmental management in Andalusia and the environmental authorization procedures for industrial projects. The program will feature the participation of representatives from the public administration, companies, and leading organizations in the sector.

Speeches by the Director of the ETSi and the Director of the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering (DIQA).

11:30 a.m. – New provisions contained in Law 2/2026 for environmental management in Andalusia.

12:15 h – Analysis of the determining factors in the processing of environmental authorizations for industrial projects.
