Development Engineer Digital Control Electronics and Firmware (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

With your expertise and ideas, you will ensure that our new, high-quality products fulfill our customers' requirements.

• Architecture design of innovative, digital telemetry & control according to customer requirements
• Detailed circuit design of the defined architecture
• Detailed design of communication interfaces and control algorithms
• Coding of the controller firmware
• Validation of the detailed design through simulation, analysis and breadboarding
• Definition of commissioning and test procedures
• Definition and design of the test setup / test SW
• Commissioning and testing of the first units

Requirements:

• Successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics
• Knowledge of digital control of DC/DC converters
• Professional experience in DSP and FPGA (VHDL)
• Good written and spoken German and English skills

Software developer | EGSE for space applications (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

With your expertise and ideas, you will ensure that our new, high-quality products fulfill our customers' requirements. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Definition, planning and development of diverse applications around the topic of EGSE (Electronic Ground Support Equipment) for space applications such as:
  • Firmware development of microcontroller-controlled electronic assemblies in C
  • Driver implementations and integration of measuring devices into an existing test automation environment (C++)
  • Development of scripts for the automation of test sequences in Python
• Planning and coordination of the development of additional test system extensions
• Design and development of test sequences and their automation; process optimization
• Validation of the test system
• User training and support
• Analyzes and documentation of the test system according to project requirement

Requirements:

• Successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering/electronics, computer science or a comparable specialization
• Professional experience in software development and test automation
• Programming skills in C, C++ and Python
• Good written and spoken German and English skills

PCB Designer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

With your expertise and ideas, you will ensure that our new, high-quality products fulfill our customers' requirements. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• PCB design of power electronics for aerospace in close coordination with the circuit designer
  • Placement of the components
  • Wiring / routing
  • Covering the requirements; electrical, EMC, signal integrity, thermal, installation space
• Maintenance of the internal component library
• Control of PCB layouts
• Creation of PCB procurement specifications
• Creation of manufacturing data

Requirements:

• Ideally several years of experience in PCB design
• Completed technician training or degree in electrical engineering/electronics or similar
• Customer-oriented / communicative / team-oriented / punctual / work-organizational & process-oriented / problem-solving oriented / innovative / responsible & decisive
• English language: negotiation level; German language: fluent
