JOB TITLE: R&D Engineer

JOB FUNCTIONS At CEMOSA, we are looking for a proactive individual eager to take on new challenges to work on European-level research projects related to developing innovative solutions for climate change adaptation and improving the sustainability of transport infrastructure (railways and roads). The successful candidate will work on R&D projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment, performing tasks such as: ▪ Analyzing the impacts of climate change (e.g., extreme rainfall) on transport infrastructure. ▪ Developing and implementing algorithms using Python/R. ▪ Developing hydrological and hydraulic models. ▪ Developing tools for analyzing the vulnerability of transport infrastructure. ▪ Developing risk assessment methods for transport infrastructure. ▪ Applying Artificial Intelligence techniques. ▪ Developing degradation models. ▪ Writing reports.
CANDIDATE PROFILE QUALIFICATIONS ▪ Master's degree in Civil Engineering or similar. ▪ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
ADDITIONAL TRAINING LANGUAGES Essential: High level of English (minimum B2, C1 desirable)
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE Not required, but valued
OTHER REQUIREMENTS (Computer skills, driver's license, availability to travel, etc.). • Experience with Python and other programming languages. • Experience in GIS and BIM environments is a plus. • Experience/training in Artificial Intelligence is a plus.
