Training Project: During this training project, students will acquire practical knowledge in configuring tools and creating automations for extracting, processing, and publishing data related to power generation and distribution facilities. The main platforms to be used are: AVEVA PI System, AVEVA Predictive Analytics, and AWS IoT tools (SiteWise, Greengrass, Timestream, etc.). Creating scripts with PowerShell or Python and/or web programming for visualization will be required. Concepts of data analysis for power generation and distribution facilities will be reviewed. Familiarity with various industrial protocols (OPC, MQTT, Modbus) will be acquired for data transfer.
