17th edition of the Entrepreneurship Ideas Competition

The Knowledge Transfer and Entrepreneurship Secretariat of the University of Seville is organizing the 17th edition of the Entrepreneurship Ideas Competition, a program aimed at the entire US university community interested in learning how to transform a business idea into a real project with a chance of success.

This competition is open to current and former students of the University of Seville (US), teaching and research staff (PDI), and administrative and service staff (PAS). Teams will be organized into two categories based on their members. If the team leader is currently enrolled at the US or has been in the past, the team will participate in the "students" category. If the team leader is a member of the PDI or PAS staff, the team will participate in the "PDI-PAS" category. Applications must be submitted by completing the form available on the competition website before March 4, 2022, the closing date for the competition.

The prizes include attendance at the Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship Bootcamp at the University of California, Berkeley in August 2022, attendance at the Babson College entrepreneurship program in Boston in July 2022, and a stay at the European Innovation Academy in Porto in July 2022. Additionally, the winners in the "PDI-PAS" category will receive €6,000 (first prize) and €3,000 (second prize) to help consolidate or boost their company.

The competition website contains all the information about scheduled activities and important dates.
