Screening at the ETSi of the full documentary about Emilio Herrera, pioneer of aerospace engineering

Due to the situation caused by the power outage affecting our facilities, and in line with the decision of the University of Seville's crisis monitoring team to maintain the suspension of academic activities scheduled for the morning of Tuesday, April 29, we inform you that:
🔹 The screening of the documentary “Emilio Herrera” , scheduled for April 29th in the Auditorium of the ETSi, is suspended and postponed

Next Tuesday, April 29th, at 10:30 a.m., the Auditorium of the Higher Technical School of Engineering (University of Seville) will host a screening of the documentary “Emilio Herrera” in its entirety (100 minutes). Admission is free, but prior registration is required at confirmaciones@fundacion.enaire.es.
This activity, promoted by the ENAIRE Foundation, is part of the recognition of Emilio Herrera as a key figure in the history of aerospace engineering. A visionary engineer, he created the world's first aerostatic suit, considered by NASA to be a precursor to modern spacesuits. He also founded the Cuatro Vientos Institute of Aerodynamics and the first school of aeronautical engineering in Spain.
The ETSi is part of the working group created to publicize its legacy, along with institutions such as the ETSIAE (UPM), the Directorate General of Civil Aviation or the SHYCEA.
