Training project: Intensification of industrial engineering energy with the following detail: 1. The new electrical regulations and variable electricity prices throughout the day are positioning solar thermal plants to modify their electrical energy production strategy to adapt it to the periods of greatest need for the electrical system where technologies that have strongly perfused in the last 5 years are unable to supply energy such as photovoltaic technology or cannot supply reliably such as wind technology. 2. Due to this, parabolic trough solar thermal plants with salt storage are considering modifying their generation strategy by storing energy to be later injected into the grid when it is most convenient. 3. This represents a decrease in performance that can be compensated with market prices and the stability provided to the system. 4. The evaluation of these scenarios is proposed to evaluate the technical-economic viability.
