Solemn ceremony in memory of Professor Antonio Barrero Ripoll
The Management of the Higher Technical School of Engineering has the honor of inviting you to the solemn ceremony in memory of Professor Antonio Barrero Ripoll , in which the dedication of the Fluid Mechanics Laboratory to his name will be made official.
The tribute will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. , in the Graduation Hall of our School.
The academic event will begin with a biographical sketch of Professor Barrero, presented through four brief speeches by:
- Mr. Javier Dávila Martín , professor at the School and doctoral student of Professor Barrero Ripoll.
- Mr. Jaime Domínguez Abascal , colleague of the Academy and the University Faculty.
- Mr. Antonio Barrero Gil.
- Mr. Andrés Sáez Pérez , Director of the School, who will close the event.
Following the speeches, the delegation will move to the Fluid Mechanics Laboratory for the unveiling of the commemorative plaque , at which point this space will be officially named the Professor Antonio Barrero Ripoll Laboratory .
It will be a significant day in the history of our School, and we hope to have your presence.
