Next Wednesday, December 1st at 12:00 pm, the opening conference of the academic year "Electrical Energy Systems. Sustainable electric mobility" will be held, given by Dr. Inmaculada Zamora Belver from the University of the Basque Country.

Lecture by Dr. Inmaculada Zamora Belver

Inmaculada Zamora Belver is Director of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of the Basque Country, Co-Principal Investigator of the GISEL Group and University Professor of Electrical Engineering.

Industrial Engineer (1989), specializing in Electrical Engineering, and PhD in Electrical Engineering (1993), from the ETSI of Bilbao. From 2002 to 2015, she was Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), and since 2006, she has been a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the UPV/EHU. Since 2009, she has been a professor and member of the Academic Committee of the Master's Degree: "Integration of Renewable Energies into the Electrical System" (which covers electric vehicles).

She has participated as a researcher, or principal investigator, in more than 60 R&D projects related to Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energies, with public and/or private funding. She has supervised 17 doctoral theses (two of which are on electric vehicles, with another currently in progress) and is the author/co-author of over 60 technical articles in national and international journals, as well as over 130 presentations at national and international conferences. She is also a member of the editorial board of several international journals. She has collaborated with the Basque Energy Agency (EVE) and the Bilbao City Council on two practical workshops regarding the future implementation of electric vehicles in the Basque Country.
