This Friday, September 23, interested students can attend the seminar "Chemical Engineering Multiscale: Modelling for Scale-Up," presented by Dr. Cristina Moliner , a researcher at the University of Genoa.

The seminar, held within the framework of the Erasmus exchange programs, will present the development of chemical engineering processes from a multiscale perspective, analyzing experimental activities complemented by process simulation at different levels of detail. To this end, the development of a spouted bed reactor for lignocellulosic waste gasification will be described, from the laboratory scale to the demonstration scale (0.5 MWth), among other processes.
