The opening session of the conference to be held at the University of Seville for the International Year of Quantum Mechanics (IYQ2025-US) will take place on February 26th in the University's Paraninfo at 11:00. 

The lecture will be given by Leni Bascones, a researcher at the ICM in Madrid, who will address the topic of Twistronics, situated at the intersection of basic research and technology. Representatives from the centers that have supported this initiative will also be present and participate.
