BEFORE DIGITAL: BOOKS THAT BUILT 20TH-CENTURY ENGINEERING
"BEFORE DIGITAL: BOOKS THAT BUILT 20TH-CENTURY ENGINEERING".
Bibliographic treasures from the Special Collection of the US Engineering Library: from April 17 to May 15.
Opening: April 17 at 11:30 a.m. in the reception and lending area of the ETSi Library
Presentation by Pascual Riesco, Professor of the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Fluid Mechanics.
The exhibition includes some printed books from our Special Collection . Their subject matter is varied, but all relate to the technical knowledge that, in the mid-20th century, formed the foundation upon which engineering in more recent times would be built. Although this collection now seems destined for oblivion, not only due to its obvious obsolescence but also because of the new formats in which knowledge is currently disseminated, we wanted to pay it this simple tribute by rescuing it from obscurity, at least from April 17th to May 15th.
