The Higher Technical School of Engineering (ETSi) of the University of Seville held a commemorative ceremony last Friday, January 16th, at 1:30 p.m., during which a plaque was unveiled in honor of workshop instructors Manuel González and José Tejada. With this recognition, the ETSi dedicated the Wind Tunnel facilities to both instructors, whose work was fundamental to the history and experimental development of the School.

During the ceremony, which took place at the Wind Tunnel facilities and was attended by the two honorees and numerous colleagues and friends, their professional careers were highlighted, characterized by dedication, technical knowledge and commitment to the ETSi.

Over the years, Manuel González and José Tejada played an essential role in the implementation, development, and consolidation of the Wind Tunnel, a key infrastructure for the School's experimental activities. Their contribution was crucial to the operation, reliability, and utilization of this facility.

They were also responsible for building numerous experimental models, as well as for the operation and maintenance for years of the infrastructure that now bears their name. This ongoing work contributed significantly to the training of generations of engineers and to the development of various research projects.

With this institutional act, the Higher Technical School of Engineering publicly expressed its recognition of a task that is an inseparable part of the human and technical heritage of the ETSi.
