The Cybersecurity Master's program will train engineers to solve advanced technical problems related to the security of corporate networks, services, and information systems. The training will focus on both technological and procedural aspects.

The Master's program aims to provide in-depth technical coverage of ALL aspects of Cybersecurity, enabling students to: develop secure software on Windows/Linux and mobile platforms (apps), harden networks and ICT systems, implement a security management system in a company, conduct security audits including advanced Ethical Hacking techniques, and prepare forensic computer reports in the ICT field.

The course, taught primarily by industry experts, aims to meet the advanced training needs of future professionals in the Cybersecurity market. In-person classes, held on Fridays from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM and Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, allow for compatibility with work schedules.

Skills

Some specific skills sought in this proposal include:
- Ability to analyze and detect potential problems from a cybersecurity perspective in ICTs
- Ability to protect and harden both networks and key ICT systems and services (including cloud environments) against potential attacks
- Ability to implement a security management system, business continuity plan, and technological risk analysis in a corporate environment
- Ability to prepare comprehensive forensic computer reports
- Ability to develop software securely
- Ability to conduct and write cybersecurity audits and technical reports (applying advanced hacking techniques if necessary)
- Strong oral communication skills applied to the implementation of security policies, as well as the ability to independently search for relevant information online.

Requirements

Specific admission requirements for studies:

Hold a Technical Engineering degree, Engineering degree, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Alternatively, hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics or Physics with experience in the ICT sector.

Academic requirements for obtaining the Degree or Diploma:

Having passed all modules and the Master's thesis

Student selection criteria:

The selection criteria are based on the evaluation of each candidate, which will depend on the following sections: c1) average grade of the degree, weighted by ECTS credits and ICT relevance (computer science and telecommunications have the highest relevance); c2) professional experience and additional training (CV); c3) letter of recommendation and statement of purpose for admission. The weighting limits for each section are: c1 between 40% and 60%, c2 between 20% and 40%, and c3 between 10% and 20%. The academic committee will establish the final weighting for each section
