The Keyter Intarcon Genaq Award aims to recognize the best Bachelor's/Master's Thesis on a topic related to the study of the following areas: air conditioning, refrigeration, water production or technologies related to the above.
The prize will include a cash award of €500 for first place and €300 for second place. In addition, the winning students will be offered a six-month internship at one of the KIG Group companies.
The application period will be open from December 1, 2022 until July 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
All documentation will be submitted using the electronic form indicated in the annex.
Terms and Conditions for the Keyter Intarcon Genaq Award for the best final degree/master's project
The prize will consist of a cash award of €500 for first place and €300 for second place. This amount will be paid in a single installment once the eligibility requirements established in this call for entries have been met, and will be presented at a public ceremony. The corresponding withholding tax for Personal Income Tax will be deducted from the payment, as applicable. In addition to the cash prize, the winners will be offered a six-month internship at one of the group's companies.
Those eligible for this award are individuals whose Final Degree/Master's Projects conform to the objective described in point 1 of these rules, which have been defended and judged at the University of Seville within the corresponding academic year, and whose minimum grade has been "Outstanding".
- Those interested will sign the application using the electronic form which can be accessed via the link in Annex I of this call.
- Those interested must submit, in addition to the application, the following documentation:
- Photocopy of the National Identity Document.
- A complete copy of the Final Degree/Master's Project or a summary of the Final Degree/Master's Project, with a maximum length of five pages, which must include the following concepts: object of the work, results obtained and interest of the topic covered.
- Certificate attesting to having received a grade of "Outstanding" or higher. All of this in a single PDF document with a maximum size of 10MB.
- Photocopy of the National Identity Document.
The application period will be open from December 1, 2022 until July 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
All documentation must be submitted attached to the electronic form in a single submission.
The awarding of the prize will be subject to the following provisions:
- Submitting a work to the Keyter-Intarcon-Genaq Prize implies acceptance by its author of the competition rules, in particular the transfer of intellectual property rights to the KIG group in the event of winning the prize.
- Failure by the beneficiary to comply with the obligations set out in this call for applications may result in the withdrawal of the Prize, with the corresponding reimbursement of the amounts received.
- The review of applications will be carried out in a competitive process and, for this purpose, only the documentation provided in the applications will be considered.
- The applications will be evaluated by the Director of the KIG Chair, a representative from Keyter, a representative from INTARCON, and the Professor of the area of Machines and Thermal Engines of the University of Cádiz, Francisco José Sánchez de la Flor, who will act as Secretary.
- The Evaluation Committee will issue the award decision. This decision must include the following documentation:
- Minutes of the meeting of the Evaluation Committee.
- Report from the Chair that supports the awarding of the Prize.
- List of candidates, in order of priority, submitted for the Award.
- The Evaluation Committee may declare the Prize void and will resolve any incidents that may arise.
- Minutes of the meeting of the Evaluation Committee.
The decision of the Evaluation Commission will be final and will be made public on the website before December 30, 2023.
Both the Chair Director and the members of the committee in charge of evaluating the final studies projects submitted for the award, in addition to the powers conferred upon them, are empowered to resolve any incidents that may arise, as well as to carry out any actions necessary in the execution of this call.
