IWD 2024 - Women Leading the Way

Event description

McKinsey & Company in the Southern European region is coming together to celebrate International Women's Day at the IWD 2024 - Women Leading the Way. It will take place on the evening of 7 March in Athens, Lisbon, Madrid, Milan and Paris simultaneously. 

 

This event will bring together distinctive candidates (who self-identify as woman) to learn about women at McKinsey, hear from inspirational speakers, meet other selected candidates and network in person in our offices.

 

IWD 2024 - Women Leading the Way. The event will be in person and will consist of two parts: 

First, we will have an inspirational panel of Southern European women partners and senior partners led by our Partner of Talent Attraction simultaneously connected with all our colleagues and participants from other offices. 

Second, we will have a local event where attendees will have the opportunity to network, learn more about McKinsey and leadership skills, and celebrate the International Women's Day.

 

Exact timing and agenda of the event will be shared with selected participants at a later date.

 

What to expect

To be considered for IWD 2024 - Women Leading the Way, you must be currently based in Europe and have a strong tie with one of the countries involved: France, Greece, Italy, Portugal or Spain. You must also be:

 

• a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD student graduation no later than 2026 OR

• a professional with up to six years of work experience.

 

To apply, please submit the following by February 20th:

 

• Resume in English, which should include details of your education and grades, work experience, and extracurricular activities and achievements. 

• Transcripts

 

You must send all the required documents to ensure your application is reviewed.

 

When you apply, you will have the chance to choose up to three office locations. It is highly recommendable that you select as first, the office location with which you have the strongest tie.

 

The event will be held in English but consider you must be fluent in all local languages for the offices you choose when submit the application. 

 

As of February 23rd, you will know if you are one of the candidates selected to attend the event.
